Malgré l'apparence futuriste du diorama, ce véhicule a bien existé... en prototype !
Un transport de troupe LVTP 1 sur lequel on a installé une tourelle de "Sheridan" et un canon de 105mm.  Le camion chenillé lui, est fabriqué avec des restes de maquettes et inspiré des ATS soviétiques...

Débarquement américains à l'île de Grenade au Panama en 1989. La maquette du LVPT7 A1 a été améliorée extérieurement. L'intérieur du véhicule est fabriqué en "scratch" à partir de plans fournis par Michel Bouet, un maquettiste talentueux qui présentait des dioramas de blindés dans la défunte revue Maquettes - (24 numéros 1988-89).

 

Despite the diorama's futuristic appearance, this vehicle actually existed... as a prototype!
An LVTP 1 troop transport with a "Sheridan" turret and 105mm cannon.  The tracked truck, on the other hand, is made from model remains and inspired by the Soviet ATS...

American landings at Grenada Island, Panama, 1989. The LVPT7 A1 model has been improved externally. The vehicle's interior is scratchbuilt from plans supplied by Michel Bouet, a talented modeler who presented armored vehicle dioramas in the now defunct french Maquettes magazine (24 issues 1988-89).
