A la vision du film, il était impératif que je fasse ce camion en maquette, le premier d'une série dont le second allait être celui de "Fortress". Il était vraiment original, futuriste, la remorque se fondant dans l'alignement du tracteur. Je n'ai pu faire celle-ci ouverte faute de documentation. La base est un chassis et une cabine de Kenworth à l'échelle 1/25ème. Les pneus tout-terrain très larges - à l'origine trois demi-roues collées ensembles nous amène à 54 pièces ! Toute la structure est faite à partir de carte et baguettes plastiques Evergreen, feuille de plomb et carton à dessin pour une grande partie de la remorque. Il est finalement peint à l'huile HUMBROL et sali à la poudre de pastel. La figurine de base est un académique nu PREISER...

After seeing the film, it was imperative for me to make this model truck, the first in a series, the second of which would be the "Fortress" truck. It was truly original, futuristic, with the trailer blending in with the tractor. I was unable to open this one for lack of documentation. The base is a 1/25th scale Kenworth frame and cab. The very wide off-road tires - originally three half-wheels glued together - bring us to 54 pieces ! The entire structure is made from Evergreen card and plastic rods, lead sheet and drawing board for much of the trailer. It's finally painted with HUMBROL oil and salted with pastel powder.
